What is VA Disability Compensation/Benefits?

VA Disability Compensation is a monthly tax-free benefit paid to veterans who got sick or injured while serving in the military. Moreover, it is also available to veterans whose service made an existing condition worse.

The benefit amount is graduated according to the degree of the veteran’s disability on a scale from 10% to 100% (in 10% increments). That is to say, the higher the degree of the veteran’s disability the higher the monthly payment awarded.

VA disability compensation is not provided only to those veterans who have the greatest need. There is no limit on the number of veterans who can receive these benefits. Filing a claim is a way to protect yourself from potentially declining health conditions, gain access to necessary medical treatment, and receive monetary compensation from lost earnings potential.

VA Disability Compensation – Free Claim Evaluation

Regrettably, applying for service-connected VA disability compensation is a long and frustrating process. The laws and regulations are complex and often difficult to understand. Though we cannot make the VA decide claims faster, we can certainly help veterans obtain the maximum benefits they are entitled under the law. Accordingly, we will help you file a new or initial claim (absolutely free of charge) and follow up with you until you get a decision from the VA.

Once you get the decision from the VA, we will help you decide whether or not the denied claim (or low rating) is winnable on appeal. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE of never filing a claim or settling for denials or low ratings.
